Team 7350

We're WATT'S NXT.

The robotics team for everyone.

WATT'S NXT is a high school robotics team involved in the FIRST Tech Challenge, community service, and a global STEM outreach.

The FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is a robotics competition where student teams design, build, and program robots to complete specific tasks on a game field.

Each season introduces a new game, requiring robots to autonomously and manually perform actions to score points. Teams work within size and weight limits, document their design process, and present their work to judges.

Benefits of joining FTC

  • Develops skills in engineering, programming, and robotics
  • Encourages teamwork, communication, and collaboration
  • Fosters creativity and problem-solving through real-world challenges
  • Opens pathways to scholarships and career opportunities in STEM

At WATT'S NXT Robotics, we’re dedicated to igniting the next generation’s SPARK by empowering them to explore the innovative world of robotics.

Through hands-on learning and cutting-edge technology, we inspire creativity, problem-solving, and a passion for STEM that will drive tomorrow’s leaders and innovators.

Summer Workshops

  • We helped them with building the basic hardware design of the robot (such as the chassis) and fine tuning (drone launcher.)
  • Followed up in weeks leading up to the competition.

Mentoring the Brearley Bots

Every year, we host workshops over the summer focusing on Software and CAD to educate potential members and reinforce these skills in current members of the team.

Support Team at Frozen Frenzy

We were a support team at the Frozen Frenzy Event in Piscataway, NJ--which saw 24 different teams compete that day.

Tech Expo Presentation

  • Members of the team presented at the Tech Expo at Edison Academy Magnet School.
  • They explained the hardware mechanisms and software to high schoolers and talked about FTC and careers in STEM.

Scrimmage

Hosted coopertitions with other teams such as Quadra and MCA Eagles to foster gracious professionalism.
